    Welcome to DANCECLUB!  

    A fun & creative preschool dance syllabus helps to make your child's dance classes one big dance adventure.

    We love that we have found an Australian program that uses specially recorded original songs.  There are themes like “Going to the Circus”, “Jungle Safari”, “Pirate Adventure” and many more, encouraging the dancer to use their imagination, while learning! 

    Dancers will learn the dance basics of jazz, hip hop, stretch, free movement, tap, music & singing, including routines they need to remember (not just follow along).

  • Dance Cirque Little Monkeys

    Roll up!  Roll up!  We love our Dance Cirque Little Monkeys classes especially for those kids that love hanging around!

    The Dance Cirque Little Monkeys classes are super fun. Your little one will gain confidence, build strength, develop focus and learn new skills. Classes include:-

    • Interactive circuits
    • Balance beams
    • Silks
    • Static Trapeze
    • Juggling
    • Hula hooping
    • Poi
    • One teacher to every 6 Little Monkeys.

  • Little Ballerinas

    The "Little Ballerinas" classes are fun classes for young children. At Dancehouse we have a program of classes especially designed to stimulate your child's imagination and help develop her gross motor skills. Created and refined by Julie Barclay over the past 35 years of teaching dance to young children.

    Little Ballerina's classes are 45 minutes long with a different theme for each Term. They consist of basic ballet movements, improvisation, co-ordination exercises, mime, fun and fantasy. Each class has a corresponding treasure chest of props to use in each session - such as fairy wands, tiaras, crowns, angel wings, sunglasses, necklaces, scarves, butterfly nets, pirate treasure etc. As we aim to encourage a love of all types of music - the music used is diverse from classical piano and orchestral music, to ballet favourites and children's music.

  • Students must be at least 4 years old by June 30th in 2023, for Dance Club, Little Monkeys or Little Ballerinas as they need the confidence to come into the studio with their class but without their parents. 

  • My daughter, was just 2 when we first introduced her to Dancehouse. Although she was a little dubious about the class to start with and required lots of cuddles and reassuring, she started to grow in confidence and ability. Asha, who has now turned 3 years, absolutely loves it!
    It develops her coordination, concentration and imagination with dancing, story telling and apparatus. It has been a real pleasure to watch her and the other children in the class grow in confidence and ability as the year has passed.
    I highly recommend Dancehouse dance and ballet classes to anyone as a fun and beneficial activity for little children. And I recommend Dancehouse as a whole to children of any level to help teach respect, team work, commitment and an all round love of dance.

  • Did you know - there's NO additional charges for concert costumes or rehearsals!

  • All Inclusive Pricing includes: your dance class tuition, all concert  performance rehearsals, costume hire for the Dancehouse concert and costume hire for any Dancehouse community performances, access to the concert performance videos. Term fees are pro-rated, for those students that commence mid-term.

    The Registration Fee covers: administration, music royalty fees and a beautiful medal for all concert participants.

    Term Fees are due by payable by the end of the first week of each Term.  There are no refunds for missed classes, so make sure you come to all your classes.

    Trial Classes If there is space in a class it is possible to do a trial class for a casual fee.  However, since it takes about 5 classes to really know if the class is right for you, I suggest you just enrol for a Term.

    *Early Bird Discounts apply to those tuition fees paid by in full, by bank deposit, prior to the start of each Semester 20 Weeks.
