  • Dance - Performing Arts

    A combo class of Jazz & Tap.  Giving dancers a rounded dance education.  Mixing it up, the dancers will need to come prepared to each class with their jazz shoes and their tap shoes.
     
    In jazz they will warm up with cardio, work on technical exercises, stretch out, perform travelling steps coming down the room and learn fast paced dance routines.
     
    For tap we will be continuing with Tapatak Oz, a uniquely Australian system of Tap training.  We love it!  We learn to count complex rhythms and make music with our feet.  Kids love tap because it makes noise and we suggest parents provide a practice tap board at home, to protect their floors.
     
     

  • Dance Cirque

    A super fun class especially for those kids that love hanging around!  Gain confidence and learn new skills, including:-

    *Build strength *Develop Flexibility *Improve Balance *Aerial Silks * Aerial Lyra *Introducing Trapeze *Juggling *Hula hoops and Poi

    Learn to climb, juggle and perform tricks in a safe environment. Dance Cirque is great for boys and girls and you don't need to be a dancer to enjoy it. It works on level cards so everyone progresses at their own pace. It not only involves an apparatus (silks, lyra & static trapeze) but also ground acts (juggling, hula hooping & poi).

    Great for cognitive development, strength and flexibility and mostly confidence. 

     

  • Ballet

    Ballet is the favourite style at our studio, which is great because it is the foundation for all other forms of dance. If you want to be an outstanding dancer in any style - you need good ballet training.  
     
    At Dancehouse we are combine the ATOD ballet syllabus work with the magic and creativity of the Once Upon a Ballet program. This program includes a variety of Fairy Tale themes, danced to orchestral classical music. Our goal is to create amazing dance experiences with a strong technical foundation, where the children want to come to class week after week.  
     
    Little Stars, Level 1, 2 & 3 ballet classes are taken once per week.

  • Did you know - there's NO additional charges for concert costumes or rehearsals!

  • All Inclusive Pricing includes: your dance class tuition, all concert  performance rehearsals, costume hire for the Dancehouse concert and costume hire for any Dancehouse community performances, access to the concert performance videos. Term fees are pro-rated, for those students that commence mid-term.

    The Registration Fee covers: administration, music royalty fees and a beautiful medal for all concert participants.

    Term Fees are due by payable by the end of the first week of each Term.  There are no refunds for missed classes, so make sure you come to all your classes.

    Trial Classes If there is space in a class it is possible to do a trial class for a casual fee.  However, since it takes about 5 classes to really know if the class is right for you, I suggest you just enrol for a Term.

    *Early Bird Discounts apply to those tuition fees paid by in full, by bank deposit, prior to the start of each Semester 20 Weeks.
