  • Little Ballerinas

    Our Little Ballerinas classes are designed to ignite joy and spark imagination in young children. Developed by Julie Barclay over her illustrious 35-year career teaching dance, these classes are a delightful blend of fun and skill-building.

    In each 45-minute session, your child will embark on a whimsical journey through different themes, fostering creativity and enhancing gross motor skills. From basic ballet movements to improvisation, coordination exercises, mime, and plenty of fun and fantasy, every class is a magical experience.

    To enhance the enchantment, each class is accompanied by a treasure chest of props, including fairy wands, tiaras, ribbons, butterfly wings, and more. These props add an extra layer of excitement and imagination to every session.

    At Dancehouse, we believe in nurturing a love for all types of music. That's why our Little Ballerinas groove to a diverse range of tunes, from classical piano and orchestral melodies to beloved ballet favorites and children's music.

    Embark on an exciting dance journey with us where every step is a thrilling adventure! At DANCECLUB, we infuse creativity and fun into every junior dance class, ensuring your child's experience is nothing short of extraordinary.

    Discover the magic of our Australian program, featuring specially recorded original songs that transport dancers to enchanting worlds like the Circus, Jungle Safari, and Pirate Adventure. These captivating themes ignite the imagination while fostering a love for dance!

    Our dynamic classes cover a spectrum of dance styles including jazz, a taste of hip hop, tap, and more. From mastering dance basics to exploring free movement and the joy of music, our curriculum is designed to inspire and empower young dancers.

    At DANCECLUB, we believe in nurturing not only technique but also creativity and confidence. Our dancers don't just follow routines; they become the choreographers of their own dance dreams!

  • Students must be at least 4 years old as of the 30th June 2024  to start Little Ballerinas as they need the confidence to come into the studio with their class but without their parents. It is reccomended that students are turning at least 5 for Dance Club.

  • My daughter, was just 2 when we first introduced her to Dancehouse. Although she was a little dubious about the class to start with and required lots of cuddles and reassuring, she started to grow in confidence and ability. Asha, who has now turned 3 years, absolutely loves it!
    It develops her coordination, concentration and imagination with dancing, story telling and apparatus. It has been a real pleasure to watch her and the other children in the class grow in confidence and ability as the year has passed.
    I highly recommend Dancehouse dance and ballet classes to anyone as a fun and beneficial activity for little children. And I recommend Dancehouse as a whole to children of any level to help teach respect, team work, commitment and an all round love of dance.

  • Did you know - there's NO additional charges for concert costumes or rehearsals!

  • All Inclusive Pricing includes: your dance class tuition, all concert  performance rehearsals, costume hire for the Dancehouse concert and costume hire for any Dancehouse community performances, access to the concert performance videos. Term fees are pro-rated, for those students that commence mid-term.

    The Registration Fee covers: administration, music royalty fees and a beautiful medal for all concert participants.

    Term Fees are due by payable by the end of the first week of each Term.  There are no refunds for missed classes, so make sure you come to all your classes.

    Trial Classes If there is space in a class it is possible to do a trial class for a casual fee.  However, since it takes about 5 classes to really know if the class is right for you, I suggest you just enrol for a Term.

    *Early Bird Discounts apply to those tuition fees paid by in full, by bank deposit, prior to the start of each Semester 20 Weeks.
